James H. Gary is Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining at the Colorado College of Mines, Golden. The author of more than 30 skilled papers that reflect his analysis interests in fuels and gasoline additives, shale oil, coal processing expertise, and artificial liquid fuels, he is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Affiliation for the Advancement of Science and a member of the American Chemical Society. Dr. Gary received the B.S. (1942) and M.S. (1946) levels in chemical engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State College, Blacksburg, and the Ph.D. degree (1951) in chemical engineering from the College of Florida, Gainesville.
Handwerk, Glenn E. :
Glenn E. Handwerk is a consulting chemical engineer in private practice in Golden, Colorado. A member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the holder of two basic U.S. patents, he is engaged in the design and implementation of new refining and gas processing tasks and in the improvement of plant operations. Before coming into private follow Mr. Handwerk was employed over a period of 20 years in course of engineering positions with both engineering and working corporations. He received the B.S.
