Petroleum Tools Service of Wilson was started in 1968 by Deryl OBriant and Donald Wiggs and was primarily a petroleum equipment installation company. After a few years, the company acquired a number of major product strains and started to develop into a gross sales, service and installation firm.

In December 1999, the corporate was bought by Butch OBriant (Deryl OBriants son), Bennie Bailey and Brian Vick. The corporate now employs seventeen. Petroleum Equipment Service is a Wayne Fueling Methods distributor and represents several different major petroleum tools manufacturers. The set up and repair territory is japanese North Carolina. The corporate sells and ships merchandise all through the japanese United States.
